It's nothing new to know that Bayern Munich have won
another Bundesliga tie, but it was impressive that they blew Hoffenheim away so
convincingly having beaten Bayer Leverkusen and Benfica in the last week.
Julian Nagelsmann's side took advantage of defensive mistakes and fine
build-up play, like that of Thomas Muller as he set up Serge Gnbary for the
opening strike.
Ten minutes later it was game over as Muller recovered the ball in the
danger area and Robert Lewandowski applied the finishing touch.
With that, the Polish international became the first player to reach
double figures for goals in the Bundesliga.
In the second half, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Kingsley Coman both
added to the scoreline to seal a 4-0 victory.
The machine
85 games without failing
Bayern are now up to 85 games without failing to score and are nearing
the record of 96 set by River Plate between 1936 and 1939.
The result means Bayern remain top, with a one-point lead over Borussia
Dortmund.
